The reason travel destinations often remain beautiful memories is because the joy of the moment is remembered along with the scenery. Even if the weather was hot, the warmth of the summer sun remains in the memory or photograph; even a cold winter day can become romantic in memory. I divide the canvas into different planes, constructing the whole in a flat, blocky way.
