Overall background concept (black background):

The consistent use of a black background in the artwork symbolizes the ever-present and pervasive "death" in our world. Within this, a vibrant and colorful world is depicted, representing the existence of "life."

As a medium connecting these two opposing worlds——"life and death"——the role of the "girl" is positioned in the artwork, serving as a bridge between the two.

Concept:

This work is composed of an upland landscape and ocean waves covering it, depicting the phenomenon of land erosion due to rising sea levels, focusing on the issue of environmental damage.

The flowers blooming on land symbolize life, but the waves covering them represent the rising sea levels due to global warming in recent years, causing the land to be gradually engulfed by the ocean. Even the boundary between land and sea, which should be clearly separated, is gradually disappearing, hinting at the breakdown of natural order.

On the other hand, human thoughts and emotions can sometimes be as chaotic and restless as the surging ocean at night. This work also contrasts such internal states with the imagery of the ocean.

The work ultimately presents the relationship between nature and humanity, as well as the profound impact of environmental destruction.
