CASIMIR Tarot Minor: Swords – A Sharp Blade Pointing to Inner Truth
CASIMIR's "Small Tarot: Swords Series" is a visual dialectic of thought and truth. The sword symbolizes thought, language, decision, and pain, and has always been regarded as the most challenging element in Tarot. CASIMIR has embodied this challenge in a series of sharp, profound, and philosophical artistic images.
This series uses cool tones as its main theme, paired with burning red and gold, creating a strong emotional conflict and visual tension. Each female protagonist seems to embody a symbol of inner thoughts—they struggle with contradictions and awaken in pain; the sword is both a weapon and an extension of consciousness.
The composition of the image is full of dynamism and symbolism: an exploding heart, a veil covering the eyes, and a body surrounded by swords. These images all echo the idea that "thinking is a lonely yet necessary battle." The artist transforms the "rational dilemma" in Tarot into a poetic visual language, inviting viewers to embark on a journey of self-discovery while they appreciate the image.
Unlike the mystical hints often found in Tarot cards, CASIMIR's Swords series is more like a contemporary portrait of the soul, depicting how we confront anxiety, emotional repression, choices, and truth. It is an artistic sword that points directly to the deepest knots and unties in the human heart.
This is not just an interpretation of Tarot, but also a reflection of the contemporary spiritual landscape.
