“She” is not merely a gender, but a state of being in constant flux.
In She, seven artists from five countries use painting and visual language to rethink the image, body and identity of “her” — from fragmented bodies and fluid identities to states of being between human and nature, reality and the psyche.
This is not simply an exhibition on a female theme, but a question about looking, perceiving and existing. Bringing together artists active in international exhibitions, it presents the many faces of the contemporary “she” across different cultural contexts.
