JJ Zamoranos

JJ Zamoranos, also known as EXLD, is a visual artist who currently resides in Manila, Philippines.

He draws inspiration from skateboarding, pop culture, music, lowbrow art, soft vinyl toys, Japanese aesthetics, and the DIY spirit, resulting in his captivating portfolio that includes paintings, murals, toy designs, and graffiti.

Since 2004, his creative career has developed rapidly like a snowball, achieving numerous accomplishments in oil painting and mural creations across Asia. He has also participated in various public art festivals and graffiti events, such as HKWALLS in Hong Kong from 2015-17, Street Dealin' in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2017, and Gate Ready Vol. EXLD in Taipei in 2019. Utilizing the transience and rebellious intent of graffiti as the driving force and direction of his creations, he challenges traditional art forms by exploring the nature and impermanence of the graffiti medium, allowing us a glimpse into his visual landscape.
