CASIMIR (Li Chang-Hsien) is a Taiwanese contemporary artist who studied oil painting at Da-Yeh University. His female figures blend Art Nouveau, Symbolism and myth across digital art, printmaking and mixed media. This collection brings together his limited edition prints — the Major and Minor Arcana tarot series and stand-alone works — on museum-grade paper, hand-signed, numbered and embossed. See them in person by appointment at Neverland Gallery, a Taiwan art gallery in Xinyi, Taipei.

CASIMIR (Chang-Hsien Lee) is a contemporary Taiwanese artist who graduated from the Oil Painting Group of the Department of Plastic Arts at Dayeh University. His creations span digital art, printmaking, mixed media, and contemporary art. For many years, he has continuously explored the independent value of digital media in artistic creation and focused on the transformation and future possibilities of artistic language under technological development.

His works primarily feature female figures as the main creative theme, integrating Art Nouveau, Symbolism, mythological narratives, and contemporary cultural elements to construct a spiritual realm situated between reality and fantasy. The delicate portrayal of figures in his paintings, combined with plants, animals, religious symbols, and occult imagery, forms a layered visual narrative. Beneath the opulent and intricate compositions lie observations and reflections on human nature, desire, faith, life experiences, and contemporary social phenomena.

In CASIMIR's creations, women are not objects to be viewed but symbols of emotion, memory, and spiritual consciousness. Through the depiction of figures' expressions and postures, the artwork attempts to present the most authentic and complex emotional states of the human heart, guiding viewers into a world full of allegory and imagination.

His creations are deeply influenced by artists such as Alphonse Mucha, Gustav Klimt, and Egon Schiele, while also integrating visual vocabularies from Impressionism, Pointillism, Cubism, and contemporary digital art, gradually developing a personal style that combines classical spirit with contemporary perspective. In recent years, he has extended digital images to mixed media creations, combining printing technology, industrial materials, and ready-mades to explore the transformative relationship between the virtual and the physical.

Since 2016, CASIMIR has continuously exhibited his works in Taiwan and internationally. He has participated in UNKNOWN ASIA in Osaka, Japan, Independent Taipei Art Fair, and held a large-scale solo exhibition, "CASIMIR ART: Chang-Hsien Lee Digital Printmaking Exhibition," at the National Taiwan Arts Education Center. His works are collected by Asian and international collectors, and he continues to explore new languages and possibilities for contemporary art in the digital age through diverse media practices.
