INK NOISE ⚡️ CAZUL Solo Exhibition in Taipei
DÅWN COFFEE × Neverland Gallery
Amid the noise of the city, line becomes an outlet for emotion and color the most direct language. INK NOISE is less an exhibition than a release of energy from the heart of street culture. From Tokyo and Los Angeles to Kingston and New York, CAZUL condenses decades of life experience, graffiti culture and rebellious spirit onto canvas, responding to our times in the purest, most direct way.
CAZUL (カズール)
Street Energy × Graffiti Language
Rooted in street culture, CAZUL has made graffiti the core of his practice since encountering it in Los Angeles in 1989. From mural work in Kingston, Jamaica, to joining KRS-One’s “TEMPLE OF HIP HOP” and founding TOPUPPRODUCTION, his work has long crossed the boundary between the street and contemporary art.
Deeply influenced by 1980s punk rock culture, he projects social issues, inner conflict and the tension of life onto his paintings, combined with the vivid color system of 1970s cartoon aesthetics to create an instantly recognizable visual language. Using his distinctive “Double Hand” technique, layering spray paint with special acrylics, CAZUL creates works full of explosive power, rhythm and street soul. This is not just painting — it is an attitude. @cazul137
