"Exploring the core of creation through the structure of humorous comedy"
@lee.jang.kae
I draw inspiration from all kinds of comedy. Humor is a complex and highly personal feeling—it works differently for everyone, and this diversity has led to countless genres, techniques, and mechanisms in comedy. Because I love all kinds of humor, I continuously explore different forms and find novelty in the contrasts between them. Even internet memes or short videos often pique my curiosity, prompting me to analyze the structure behind the "punchline." Over time, this attitude has naturally seeped into my work. From the time I started painting, comedic situations and atmospheres have shaped my work, and they remain a core part of my artistic identity today.
