How big should wall art be? 3 simple rules
Above a sofa or bed
The artwork (or a group of works) should be about 2/3 to 3/4 of the furniture width — for a 210 cm sofa, roughly 140–160 cm wide.
Hanging height
Hang the centre of the artwork about 145–155 cm from the floor, around eye level. Above a sofa, leave about 20–30 cm between the sofa back and the bottom of the frame.
Breathing room and groupings
Leave enough wall on both sides of a single piece. For a large wall, choose a large original or a group of 2–3 works spaced 5–10 cm apart.

Is it free? Do I need an account?
Yes, it is completely free — no sign-up and no app to install. It works in any phone or computer browser.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything is composed locally in your browser; your artwork and room photos are never uploaded to any server.
How do I make the scale accurate?
Enter the real width of your wall, or drag the gold reference line onto an object of known length (for example a 210 cm sofa). The tool converts everything to real centimetres.
Can artists use it for their own work?
Yes. Illustrators and artists can upload their own artwork to create real-scale room mockups for Instagram, portfolios or proposals.
