Taipei Gallery Guide 2026: A Walking Map of Xinyi & the East District

Taipei Gallery Guide 2026: A Walking Map of Xinyi & the East District

For gallery-hopping in Taipei, Xinyi and the East District are the easiest to walk: Neverland Gallery and Eslite Gallery in Xinyi, then Bluerider ART, Each Modern and Michael Ku Gallery around Dunhua Road. All ten are closed on Mondays, so plan a Tuesday-to-Saturday visit.

Here are 10 galleries in Xinyi and the East District (Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Zhongxiao Dunhua and Dunhua Road), in walking order. Addresses, hours and MRT details were checked against each gallery’s own website in November 2026; where a website gives no MRT directions, we don’t guess – please use a map app. Check the websites again before you go for current shows and closures.

Xinyi: from Yongchun Station to Songshan

Start at MRT Yongchun Station, visit Neverland Gallery near the Fubon Art Museum, then head west to Eslite Gallery at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. With time to spare, add the Fubon Art Museum (No. 79, Songgao Rd., Xinyi Dist., Taipei; MRT Taipei City Hall Station, Exit 3 (about 9 min on foot) or Xiangshan Station, Exit 1 (about 11 min); hours and tickets on its website).
