Manasseh｜Manasseh
"Manasseh" means **"causing to forget."**
This is not a portrait depicting the biblical King Manasseh, but rather an emotion I perceived from his story.
In the painting, the body has vanished, and the spikes have softened. Those things once used to protect oneself, threaten others, or carry pain no longer extend outward.
I am interested in how people change quietly and unconsciously.
It is not about erasing the past, but about no longer letting the past dictate who one will become.
