About this work
A close-up of a girl in grey-blue tones with striking magenta eyes; pixel blocks and a looping yellow line read like digital glitches — a gaze between the real and the virtual.
The face fills the square almost edge to edge, cropped at forehead and chin so the two eyes sit at slightly different heights. Soft dark circles rest on both cheeks, a single tear catches light beside one nostril, and a pair of four-pointed white sparkles hovers in the upper right corner. JJ Zamoranos keeps the skin smooth and finely graded, while chunky white shapes at the edges look almost frosted.
