Artist’s Concept
Youth is a secret “private garden” where buds first open, full of intense curiosity and longing. Yet under social norms and the moral gaze, desire is often tied to “secrecy” and “shame”, so that exploring oneself comes mixed with unease and guilt.
Against violet, a pair of raised legs fills the frame while several hands of different skin tones overlap to cover — a bold, humorous composition built from a fragment of the body.
