About this work
The Page of Swords embodies curiosity and sharpness — eager to learn and seek the truth. CASIMIR reinterprets the card with his intricate, ornate linework and female figures, weaving together plants, symbols and esoteric imagery.
Tarot meaning
Upright: curiosity, new ideas, alertness
Reversed: hasty words, all talk, suspicion
→ Tarot Minor Arcana meanings (Swords, Cups, Wands, Pentacles)
Bright orange hair streams from the head of this young figure all the way to her feet, coiling across the ground. She wears an off-shoulder white lace dress with a black choker and thigh band, holding her blade upright beside her face. Rainbow-edged rings turn behind over layered bands of orange, teal and purple landscape, with golden grasses below.
