HIKARI
About the Work
A lynx set against a golden ground scattered with starlight; its leopard-print cape makes it a calm guardian. The title “Hikari” (light) echoes the bright, warm palette, and the square format fits easily into any space.
About the Artist
Sakura Aoki is a Japanese artist inspired by animals and plants. In warm, rich colours she paints the gentle yet resilient life of nature — naive and endearing works that still carry the power of an animal’s gaze back at us.
