Artist’s Concept
Youth is a secret “private garden” where buds first open, full of intense curiosity and longing. Yet under social norms and the moral gaze, desire is often tied to “secrecy” and “shame”, so that exploring oneself comes mixed with unease and guilt.
Among fields and roses a woman lies curled on her back as two winged golden watering cans sprinkle water from the sky — “watering the private garden” told as a pastoral fairy tale.
