Artist’s Concept
Youth is a secret “private garden” where buds first open, full of intense curiosity and longing. Yet under social norms and the moral gaze, desire is often tied to “secrecy” and “shame”, so that exploring oneself comes mixed with unease and guilt.
On bright red a woman lies back pulling star-patterned underwear over her face as yellow stars scatter around her — shyness and curiosity turned into a game.
