"Stress Contours Boy" is part of KB's ongoing series exploring chiaroscuro in Renaissance painting,

and also a reflection on his professional experience as an engineer.

The work is inspired by stress simulations commonly found in engineering structural analysis,

considering how the distribution of forces represented by different colors

resonates with the human condition.

This concept is materialized through his long-standing subject — the air dancer —

becoming a visual metaphor for life, stress, and existence.
