About this work
The Seven of Swords signifies strategy and cunning — and a reminder to be honest with ourselves and others. CASIMIR reinterprets the card with his intricate, ornate linework and female figures, weaving together plants, symbols and esoteric imagery.

Glancing back over her shoulder, a nude woman clutches a bundle of swords against her body while two more lie angled in the foreground. A great horned owl with yellow eyes looms behind her head. The background reads like a shimmering mosaic of hexagonal tiles in olive, navy and bronze, cut through by sweeping gold ribbons and small crimson and green triangles.
