About this work
A pale-haired girl peers out from among blossoms and leaves, surrounded by sunflowers, red mushrooms, a snail, a beetle and jade-green tropical foliage, with pink branches and white clouds drifting through. Built up in soft, layered pastel tones, the painting captures the quiet moment when the girl discovers a hidden little garden along a path she once hurried past.
Little Garden is an original work by YUJA (2025), oil pastel on wood panel, 40.9 × 31.8 cm. Book a visit to see it in person at Neverland Gallery (Xinyi, Taipei).

Little Garden
There are many moments around us that are often overlooked, yet they are always there. These moments reveal themselves only when we lose our way and pause for a while, and the fear of unfamiliar paths may begin to transform into a small adventure.
In this work, the girl discovers a hidden little garden, tucked away between the paths she once hurried past. Vivid colors and a warm, natural presence gently embrace her, and in that quiet moment, her fears gradually dissipate.
