About this work
In a palette of grey-blue and violet-brown, a girl with lowered eyes leans in from the right, an ochre-red pattern crowning her head. A large white bird sweeps across the upper left, and at the centre a mass of earthy gold glints with metal leaf and tiny red flecks, like an autumn wood. Layers of mineral pigment build a weathered surface that speaks quietly of leaving and arriving.

Spring has arrived again; it is time to move from one place to another.

Once creation and life became inextricably linked, my thoughts on art began to fluctuate and shift with the subtle ripples in my daily life. Passion may occasionally fade like falling leaves, but my love for creating has never diminished.

Migratory birds follow the climate, and people, too, sometimes have the urge to see different environments. Perhaps one cannot find the evergreen forests of fairy tales in reality, but one can certainly move between different forests.

If one can truly experience and inhabit each place fully, perhaps one day, one will find their own place among all things.
